Zachary Pichon leader of the World Enduro !
From motocross to enduro, this year Zachary Pichon is touching the fruit of all his years of work alongside his father Mickael and his grandfather Alain. In Spain, for the opening of the World Championship, Zachary won twice in the junior category.
That's what we call a great operation! On the back of his good results in the various national championships where he is also entered, the official Sherco therefore won on Saturday and Sunday during the first GP of the season.
The experience accumulated over the years in Motocross has served him well, even if he is still discovering this special discipline that is enduro.
« I had started my weekend well since I had beaten my main rivals on Friday during the super test, but on Saturday a brake problem cost me 35 seconds, which I had to win back by pushing hard. It was quite complicated because there were three of us fighting for the victory which I finally won, before doing it again on Sunday when I won with a 23-second lead. A good experience, I continue to discover the discipline within a team that is fully behind me, » continues Zach who will put his leader's plate back into play next weekend in Portugal.
« There we recover from the weekend, and from Wednesday we will start walking to spot the stages of the Portuguese Grand Prix. We will try to go there three or four times, in order to prepare well for this event. »
