When should you change your RXR ?

You own an RXR, but you don't know when to change it ?

After a crash :

The crash must cause the reflex to scrupulously inspect your chest protector, check if nothing is damaged or torn. Check that it does not lose pressure and ensure that it is still operational, checking that the straps are intact and that the foam is not torn. A micro-crack or settling of the interior protective foams can have serious consequences in the event of a possible future accident!

The wear of the protection, an element to take into account :

We sometimes hear about a 2-year expiry date for a chest protector. Know that this is the period when we, the manufacturer, ensure the performance of our products. Beyond this period, several things come into play. It all depends on the use that has been made of your chest protector: daily use or is it only used periodically? Either way, the better care you take of your chest protector, including storing it properly and washing it thoroughly, the longer it will last.

Our advice :

First, we have put on sale all the parts necessary for the maintenance of your RXR. For us, this is the right way to ensure a good lifespan and to limit the scrapping of a product because of a damaged or broken part.

Now, two years is a long time for a product that has followed you in all your adventures, that has been dropped, rubbed, dragged in the trailer or the truck.

In short, you don't remember everything, especially when everything went well, but if your product spoke, after two years it would tell you a lot of things. So, everyone will place their security as they wish, but at RXR, we believe that protection has a life and is not indestructible.!

• Always ensure the correct air pressure of your chest protector. This is most important for your safety.
• If your chest protector has lived, do not hesitate to change it. This can, in some cases, be useful!
